I have a Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclasses 489, 491 and 494)

These visas are temporary visas, with a possible pathway to permanent residence, for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia.

These visas support regional communities and businesses to access skilled migrants to assist regional economies, and to encourage migrants and their families to settle in regional communities.

COVID-19 concessions

From 19 September 2020, COVID-19 concessions will be available for eligible prospective Skilled Regional (subclass 887) visa applicants, who may have been disadvantaged by the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as border closures, restrictions imposed on business and the economic downturn.

For further details about the COVID-19 concessions, see Skilled Regional (subclass 887) visa.
